Jesse playing a song he wrote about the uphill climb of life and "checking out the scenery before it's down below" (he was 15 when he wrote this!). He's accompanied by the new band which had just formed a few weeks earlier - in January the band was nameless, but they are now called "Resisting Gravity". Friend, Paul Ranson, joined them on guitar. Liam was struggling to play his djembe seated - in the next song "our own enemy" he's standing, & it makes a big difference. Recorded at the Jan 5th 2008 Night Kitchen Extreme.

Jesse wrote this song about global warming. Did you know that Cdn CO2 (and other greenhouse gases) emissions are UP 26% compared to 1990 levels? We berated the U.S. for not signing Kyoto, but their emissions went up 16% - much less than ours. When we signed Kyoto we promised to get our emissions DOWN to 6% BELOW 1990 levels by 2012 - but now Harper says that's impossible. We MUST ACT now before it's too late. We're becoming our own enemy and now's our last chance to stop. Lyrics - http://www.resisting-gravity.com/lyrics/our-own-enemy.doc
